The Gabriel Ajibola's Family

This site is dedicated to the memory of Papa Gabriel Ajibola and Mother Madam Susannah Ogungbaike Ajibola and features their generation from the 19th Century till present time.

Late Papa Gabriel Ajibola was one of the children of Odueko, the Apena of Ibipe who belonged to the Paripete Ruling House in Ago-Iwoye. While Madam Susannah Ogungbaike his wife was a descendant of the Ojomo Chieftaincy Family (Chief Ogunlowo-Elegberun Ibon) of Ondo town. They were both industrious, hardworking and family oriented people.

They were both farmers and traded in cocoa and other agricultural produce which was a notable and prestigious trade at that time. Between them they were survived by five notable children who in turn made a mark on the development of not only their birth place Ago-Iwoye but Nigeria and the rest of the commonwealth. .....(to be continued)
